Severe two‑car collision in Pruszków leaves seven injured, including two children

On 1 November at about 3:15 p.m., a severe collision between a Mitsubishi and a Jeep on the junction of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Kubusia Puchatka Street in Pruszków, Poland, left seven people injured, five seriously.

Collision details

A Mitsubishi and a Jeep crashed at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Kubusia Puchatka Street around 3:15 p.m. The impact was strong enough that both cars left the roadway, one overturning and striking the traffic‑light signal. The overturned vehicle then struck a cyclist and a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk.

Casualty toll

Seven people sustained injuries, five of them seriously. Among the wounded are two children aged 7 and 9, and a 55‑year‑old woman who is in very critical condition.

Emergency response

Seven medical response teams, several fire‑brigade units and police officers arrived on scene. First‑aid was rendered on site before the injured were transported to nearby hospitals.

Road closure and traffic disruption

The intersection has been completely blocked. Police are directing traffic and setting up detours through surrounding streets, warning drivers of significant delays until the area is cleared.

Investigation underway

Police are analysing captured evidence, CCTV footage and witness statements to determine the sequence of events and the parties responsible for the accident.
