Waldemar Zurek Dismisses Ziobra Colleagues’ Accusations, Calls Them a Scam

Polish Justice Minister Waldemar Zurek denounced rumors linking him to Russian spy Pawel Rubcow, claiming the allegations are baseless and a political distraction.

Waldemar Zurek Responds to Allegations

On Monday, 10 November, Minister of Justice Waldemar Zurek addressed rumors about alleged ties with Pawel Rubcow. He said, “No, my dear, the internet has heated up. I see that the guys, Ziobra’s colleagues, have been frightened; yet they keep slandering. They say I had contacts with some Rubcow. That’s nonsense, gentlemen, but your scams, big and small, will come to light. Zbyszek is offering a swipe from Orban, the closest person to Putin in Europe. Judge it yourself, we do our work and move forward.”

Alleged Contact with Pawel Rubcow

The accusations assert that Minister Zurek maintained communications with the Russian spy. This claim has prompted a public denouncement from Zurek, who categorically denies any such relationship.

TV Republika Report and Anonymous Claim

TV Republika published a post by an anonymous user named Jack Strong, who claimed to have knowledge of Polish services. Strong alleged that the phone of the Russian spy contained contact details for Zurek and that correspondence was conducted via online messengers. The report was commented on by Krśda, chairwoman Pawełczyk-Woicka, who dismissed the allegations but called for further investigation.
