Polish politicians Radosław Sikorski and Tomasz Lepper reacted to Jarosław Kaczyński’s claim that former Deputy Prime Minister Andrzej Lepper was murdered, sparking a sharp political dispute.
Kaczyński Accuses Lepper of Murder
On Saturday in Kwidzyn, Jarosław Kaczyński said he believed Andrzej Lepper was “murdered.” He added that Lepper had been killed by people from his own circles because he sought to reveal the truth about the demise of their rule. The former prosecutor general, according to Kaczyński, assured him that Lepper had not been murdered.
Sikorski Bullies Kaczyński, Blames Forged Case
Radosław Sikorski quoted Kaczyński’s claim, stating, “I agree in a way.” He blamed the individuals who fabricated the ground‑case scandal for Lepper’s political and financial ruin and subsequent suicide, and said Kaczyński had again appointed them to positions of influence, now using Pegasus spyware. Sikorski described the alleged abuse as a shame for the channels and their patrons.
Lepper’s Son Condemns Kaczyński
Tomasz Lepper, son of the late samopomoc leader, told “Fakt” that Kaczyński was “talking nonsense” and should retire. He said Kaczyński’s associates, Wąsik and Kamiński, were sentenced by the court. “If Kaczyński has evidence, he should say more,” Tomasz added.
