After months of coordinated operations, Polish police seized over 3.5 kg of drugs, illegal firearms, and almost 1 million zlotys in Warsaw’s Wola district.
Operation Overview
Polish police, coordinated with the CBŚP in Lublin’s Chełm division, conducted a multi‑month operation targeting locations where large quantities of drugs were supposedly pre‑packaged for market distribution.
The operation focused on a 46‑year‑old suspect who had previously been linked to the distribution network.
Evidentiary Findings
Surveys of two residential premises uncovered more than 3.5 kg of marijuana and amphetamine, 18 litres of methanol capable of producing approximately 60 kg of amphetamine, and nearly 1 million zlotys in cash.
Weapons and Ammunition
In addition, police seized firearms and ammunition that required a licence. The weapons were reportedly listed as lost following a burglary in 2019.
Suspect Profile and Arrest
The 46‑year‑old man was previously convicted for possession of large quantities of drugs and had been released from prison in December 2024. He was arrested and temporarily detained by the police.
Legal Proceedings
The Warsaw‑Wola District Prosecutor’s Office charged the suspect with conspiracy to circulate large amounts of drugs and possession of psychoactive substances. He also faces prosecution for unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
At the request of the prosecutor, the court imposed a provisional detention of three months. Sentences for the offences carry up to ten years in prison.
