Fire at single‑family house engages eight fire crews

In Starych Budach village, just before 10 a.m., a single‑family house on Szuberta Street erupted in flames, prompting eight fire‑rescue crews to respond.

Fire‑rescue staff in Grodzisk received a call just before 10 a.m. for a fire at a single‑family house on Szuberta Street in the village of Starych Budak (Grodzisk district).

Upon arrival, first crews confirmed the attic was on fire.

Firefighting strategy

Firefighters applied a single stream of water from a hydraulic lift to the attic and deployed two rotation teams inside the building to locate and extinguish all ignition points. Demolition work was underway on the roof covering and rafters to eliminate remaining hot spots.

Teams involved

Eight crews participated: four from the State Fire Service in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, two from the County Command of the State Fire Service in Żyrardów, and two from OSP Jaktorów, totaling 23 firefighters.
