The municipality also warned against the spread of misinformation that could create panic and urged residents to remain calm and refrain from circulating unverified information.
Living Conditions Amidst Water Crisis in Mosty
According to local reporter Maciej Bąk on the X (formerly Twitter) portal, residents of Mosty have been experiencing a water supply crisis for two weeks, with water suitable only for flushing toilets. Tenants are relying on bucket deliveries, communal showers, and even washing machines for daily needs.
RCB Issues Alert on Contaminated Water
On November 28, the Government Security Center (Rządowe Centrum Bezpieczeństwa) released an alert to residents of Puck County, stating that water in Mosty, Mecheliki, and Kosakowo‑Złote Piaski is unfit for consumption. Municipal companies are disinfecting and purging the network, with chlorination planned over the next few days. Drinking or household use is prohibited until December 5.
