Two Gazebo Fires Break Out in Separate Districts, Firefighters Respond

On Friday, December 5, fire crews extinguished fires at temporary gazebos in two Polish districts, containing the blazes with no injuries reported.

First blaze at 1 Sierpnia 30B

Early on Friday morning, a fire erupted in a provisional gazebo on the Wild Garden Plot area at 1 Sierpnia 30B. Two fire companies responded, located the source, and deployed a single water stream to control the flames. The blaze was contained after a brief operation, and the firefighters dismantled the damaged structure. The resulting charred area was thoroughly rinsed with water to prevent reignition. No casualties were reported.

Second blaze in Niedźwiadek, on Warszawska Street

Almost concurrently, the fire brigade received a call about a fire in a dumpster gazebo in the Ursus district’s Niedźwiadek settlement, near Warszawska Street. The incident involved a burning waste container. Firefighters quickly extinguished the container fire and inspected the surroundings to ensure the blaze did not spread to nearby containers or structures. Again, there were no injuries.

Firefighters efficiently contained both incidents

Both incidents required immediate fire service intervention; however, the prompt response of the crews limited the damage to material loss. No people were injured in either blaze.
