On 9 December officers from the Kosowa Lacki Police Post attempted to stop a Fiat 500 in the town of Ceranów. The driver ignored police signals and continued driving, triggering a chase.

Vehicle loss of control

Due to excessive speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over. Neither the driver nor the passenger sustained injuries.

Legal implications

The 26‑year‑old was found to lack a licence for mechanical vehicles and now faces a potential sentence of up to five years’ imprisonment.
