On 19 December, PiS MP Michał Dworczyk appeared before the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office to confront two accusations tied to the e‑mail scandal, insisting the claims were absurd and refusing to testify.
Charges Presented to Dworczyk
At the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, Dworczyk listened to two accusations alleging he failed to perform duties and impeded the investigation linked to the e‑mail scandal.
Dworczyk’s Rebuttal
He denied the charges, labeling them “curious” and “absurd”, and declined to give testimony until he could review the case files.
Political Blame on the Prosecutor
Dworczyk criticized the prosecutor for failing to specify which obligations were neglected, calling the inquiry a politically motivated attack aimed at exposing government issues such as health care breakdowns and other scandals.
Broader Context of Governance Issues
He warned that such attempts to intimidate him would not silence criticism of perceived incompetence and lack of accountability within the administration.
