High-Speed Chase and Evidence Dump

A Ford driver fleeing excessive speed refused to stop for police in Tarczyn (Mazowieckie Voivodeship). During the pursuit, he discarded a safe containing cash and a mobile phone through his car window. Police swiftly apprehended the 24-year-old man from the Małopolskie Voivodeship.

Officers recovered a hammer and stolen license plates during a search of the vehicle. The discarded items—a phone and the safe—were also secured. Police believe the suspect intended to dispose of them due to their criminal origin.

Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder

The arrested man was wanted by Warsaw and Zielonki police for an incident at a prestigious hotel. He allegedly entered wielding a knife and attempted to kill a guest, stabbing him twice during a struggle. The 24-year-old now faces an attempted murder charge, punishable by life imprisonment. Prosecutors secured a three-month pre-trial detention order.

Seized Evidence

Authorities confirmed the safe contained 80,000 złoty. The investigation continues into the source of the cash and the circumstances surrounding the hotel attack.
