17-Year-Old Suspect in Armed Robbery with Knife Placed Under Temporary Arrest

A 17-year-old suspect was arrested two days after committing armed robbery with a knife and placed in temporary detention.

The suspect was apprehended two days after the incident while wearing the stolen jacket. Police secured a knife, brass knuckles, and cell phones, including one reported stolen from another police case.

Victim Report

A man reported to police that a young man attacked two boys, ages 13 and 16, with a knife, stealing a jacket worth 700 złoty from the younger victim.

Investigation and Charges

Through swift investigation, police identified and arrested the suspect near the crime scene. The suspect initially denied any knowledge of the robbery. Based on gathered evidence, he was charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon and receiving stolen goods.

Legal Proceedings

At the request of the Warsaw-Praga South District Prosecutor’s Office, a court applied preventive measures in the form of temporary detention. The case is being supervised by the Warsaw-Praga South District Prosecutor’s Office.
