Krystyna Pawłowicz criticized Professor Ewa Pietrzyk-Zieniewicz for suggesting President Karol Nawrocki has ties to hooligan and criminal environments.
Pietrzyk-Zieniewicz on President’s Alleged Connections
Professor Ewa Pietrzyk-Zieniewicz suggested during an interview that President Karol Nawrocki has connections to hooligan and criminal environments. When asked about the president’s presence at Jasna Góra during a fan pilgrimage, she stated that such figures “can start speaking” and that some people with certain biographies shouldn’t run for important offices due to the risk they might win.
Pawłowicz Responds with Complaint
Former Constitutional Court judge Krystyna Pawłowicz criticized Pietrzyk-Zieniewicz’s statements as “political hooligan aggression against the incumbent President of the Republic of Poland,” adding that these are “SUGGESTIONS NOT SUPPORTED BY ANY EVIDENCE.” Pietrzyk-Zieniewicz responded by suggesting Pawłowicz is trying to stay in the public eye by offending others.
Jasna Góra Meeting
On Saturday, January 10, President Karol Nawrocki participated in the XVIII National Patriotic Pilgrimage of Fans at Jasna Góra. He stated, “I am one of you” and thanked fans for their support that helped him become president. Later, he greeted with a smile Tomasz P. ps. “Dragon,” the leader of a Jagiellonia Białystok pseudo-fan gang repeatedly convicted of serious crimes.
