Oława: Man Attacked the Doctor

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 16. Just before noon, Oława police received a report of an attack on a duty physician at the hospital. Responding officers discovered that after assisting a woman who had left her office, a man entered the room, leapt at the doctor, began insulting and cursing him, and then strangled him. Following the nurses’ response, he left the office and went to the parking area. The doctor, wanting evidence of the assailant, photographed the man’s car, which he used to drive away after the attack. Seeing this, the man attacked the doctor again, striking him on the head with his fist, causing the doctor to fall. The assailant disregarded the doctor’s condition and fled the scene quickly. Fortunately, the doctor did not require medical assistance.
