Silesian entrepreneur Jacek M. claims unicorn status while facing legal challenges and payment disputes from business partners.
Who is Jacek M.?
Jacek M. is a Silesian entrepreneur who, as he emphasizes, is passionate about new technologies. He is co-owner of several companies and claims to be creator of events related to AI, law, and HR. In conversation with the editorial team, he states that he builds technology companies and focuses on foreign markets.
“I operate on the assumption that either a lot or nothing at all. I want to be a unicorn and that has been my assumption from the beginning,” Jacek M. informs.
Unverified Business Partnerships
Jacek M. claims his company currently collaborates with a major automotive conglomerate from Japan, though he does not specify the company name, citing data sensitivity in contracts. Observers on LinkedIn speculated it could refer to Suzuki, Toyota, or Mazda. His former partner Klaudia Miczek reported that he informed her of a partnership with Toyota, though no official press releases confirmed this collaboration.
The Silesian entrepreneur also boasted of business with an Italian automotive giant, describing it as “a player from the absolute top of the automotive industry. For Italians, it means more than a logo. It’s a lifestyle, quality and an obsession with details.” He did not specify which brand he partnered with, citing an NDA. According to his former partner, he mentioned Ferrari, though the editorial team could not verify this.
Academic Credentials Disputed
Jacek M. is active on social media with professionally managed accounts. His business activity was noticed by both business and academia. He claimed to have been a speaker at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Białystok and a guest lecturer at Asbiro, which was confirmed on the university’s official website.
For some time, the entrepreneur also claimed to be a lecturer at the Higher Vocational School (WSKZ). On September 17, 2025, the institution denied this information, stating: “The person indicated in the message is not, was not, and will not be a lecturer at our university. He has no contract or other form of cooperation with our institution.”
Legal Troubles
Jacek M. was a member of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence (GRAI) at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which was confirmed in the ministry. However, due to lack of activity, he was formally removed from GRAI.
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Gliwice brought charges against Jacek M. and 7 other individuals. The indictment was submitted to the District Court in Rybnik on November 7, 2024. M. was charged with participation in an organized criminal group and fraud, among other offenses. M. responded to the indictment: “It is true that in 2024 the prosecutor’s office formulated charges against me, but they relate to business activities from 2013-2014, that is, over a decade ago.”
Payment Disputes with Partners
Marzena Włosak, co-owner of QI Consulting, spoke with the editorial team. Her company provided programming services for which, she claims, she did not receive payment – amounting to 250,000 zł. When she began demanding payment, Jacek M. allegedly made various excuses, including launching bridge financing and non-payment from his supposed clients.
Yumasoft, another company that provided programming services for Jacek M., also did not receive payment. Maciej Mondrzycki, president of Yumasoft, noted M.’s behavior and communication style with creditors. “Initially, he sent quite arrogant emails and letters. He kind of scared, fabricated. When a reputable Warsaw law firm, GP Partners, began acting on our behalf, representatives of Jacka M.’s company disappeared.”
Reality vs. Public Image
On one hand, Jacek M. creates an online image of a Silesian “unicorn” and innovator; on the other hand, experiences of business partners, former partner, court proceedings, and university statements show that reality may look completely different.
An anonymous source who worked with him on organizing Silesian AI Breakfasts noted that M. can skillfully build relationships and convincingly tell various stories that are heavily embellished. “He claimed that with the help of lawyers he had filed a patent application for the name AI Breakfasts so that no one could use them in Poland. In reality, this was not his initiative and he was only one of the co-organizers.”
