Funding Controversy
In August, the Ministry of Agriculture had indicated that building KROPiK would require additional funding from the state budget. This did not sit well with the Ministry of Finance, which reminded about the European Commission’s excessive deficit procedure against Poland. Consequently, the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers postponed consideration of the project.
