United States Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose stated that he is breaking all contacts with the chairman of the Polish parliament. “We will no longer maintain contact or communicate with Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty, whose outrageous and unjustified insults against President Trump have become a serious obstacle to our excellent relations with Prime Minister Tusk and his government. Presidential Spokesman: Marshal of the Sejm Undermining Polish-American Relations

“The Marshal of the Sejm is undermining Polish-American relations,” commented presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz on the US Ambassador’s post about Włodzimierz Czarzasty. Leśkiewicz added that Włodzimierz Czarzasty, “not only does he have problems explaining his eastern social-business contacts, but he also undermines Polish-American relations.” “During the PRL era, for communists, the United States was the greatest enemy. Times have changed, but the mentality of the post-communist Czarzasty has not changed. The currently ruling coalition chose such a Marshal of the Sejm, a man who does not understand the importance and significance of alliances,” wrote the presidential spokesman on X.

On Monday, Włodzimierz Czarzasty said he would not support the nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, as he does not deserve it.
