Car Fire on Warsaw Parking Lot Reveals Fuel Containers Inside

Witnesses and firefighters extinguished a Ford fire on Jagiellońska Street, discovering two fuel tanks in the vehicle.

Fire Breaks Out on Parking Lot

On Saturday, February 7, after 22:00, a fire broke out on the parking lot at Jagiellońska 47 in Warsaw involving a parked Ford. Smoke began to emanate from the rear of the vehicle according to witness accounts.

Witnesses Take Initial Action

The fire department was called to the scene, but before their arrival, people at the parking lot used a powder extinguisher, attempting to limit the spread of the fire.

Firefighters Extinguish Blaze

Upon the firefighters’ arrival, one team was dispatched to the scene. Firefighting operations were conducted by applying a fire stream through the vehicle’s window, which successfully extinguished the fire.

Fuel Containers Discovered

After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters searched the interior of the car and discovered two fuel containers, one of which was reportedly damaged. The presence of these containers created a potential hazard as they could have intensified the fire.

Police Investigation Underway

After completing operations, the scene was handed over to the police. Officers are conducting an investigation, and it is planned to appoint an expert in firefighting to determine the cause of the blaze.
