Eastern Contacts of Czarzasty

According to Presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz, three topics will be discussed, including actions taken by state authorities to clarify all circumstances of the Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty’s eastern business and social contacts.
PiS Demands Closed-Door Sejm Meeting
Mariusz Błaszczak, at a PiS conference, questioned why Włodzimierz Czarzasty, when he was Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, sat on the committee for special services for two years without submitting a security questionnaire. He suggested it was due to the requirement to declare relations with foreigners, which “Gazeta Polska” indicates Czarzasty still maintains through his marriage to a Russian businesswoman.
Who is Swietłana Czestnych?
The issue concerns contacts with Russian Swietłana Czestnych, an art specialist recently mentioned in right-wing media. Czestnants is reportedly an expert at the Russian Auction House in St. Petersburg. She has published books in Muza publishing house, which was previously run by Czarzasty. The publishing house allegedly sold Czestnants shares in the company managing the Mościcki hotel in Spała. Similar details were described by Tomasz Piątek in his 2017 book “Wielkie łowy Kaczyńskiego,” when Krzysztof Wacławek was head of ABW and is now advisor to President Karol Nawrocki.
