Poland plans to introduce penalties for discriminatory job advertisements and failure to provide salary information in employment ads.
New Labor Code Regulations
The proposed regulations supplement the labor code provisions on salary transparency, which came into force on December 24, 2025, by virtue of the June 4, 2025 Act (Journal of Laws No. 807).
New Offenses Against Employee Rights
Although the existing regulations imposed new informational obligations on employers towards job candidates, they did not previously provide criminal penalties for violations. This gap is to be filled by the new penalties.
What Changes Will Be Introduced
The new legislation will specifically target discriminatory job advertisements and ads that lack clear salary information, aiming to increase transparency in the hiring process.
