A powerful fire engulfed and completely destroyed a single-family house in Ludwinowo, Wołomin County, around 11:50 AM today.

A major fire broke out at approximately 11:50 AM on Szmaragdowa Street in Ludwinowo (Wołomin County). The fire initially engulfed the roof and attic, then spread to the building’s walls at its peak intensity.
Emergency Response
Firefighters arrived to find a highly developed fire in the upper part of the building. They directed multiple water streams at the burning structure from various directions to contain and extinguish the flames.
Occupant Safety
One male occupant was in the house during the fire outbreak. He managed to evacuate before emergency services arrived and declined medical assistance, not requiring hospitalization.
Aftermath
The building was completely destroyed by the blaze. The situation is now under control, with firefighters conducting demolition work on the ruins and extinguishing any remaining embers.
Ongoing Operations
Over 10 fire vehicles are participating in the response, including operational groups from the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw and Wołomin. The street in the fire area remains closed during the ongoing operation.
