On August 27, RMF FM reported that Adam Niedzielski had been admitted to the Provincial Hospital in Siedlce, confirmed by the hospital director Dr. Mariusz Mioduski. Unofficial sources indicated he suffered injuries consistent with a beating, though his condition is not life-threatening. The director told PAP: “He won’t require hospitalization, but diagnostic tests are ongoing.”

Niedzielski, who previously served as Poland’s health minister, is currently under investigation for alleged involvement in a corruption scandal linked to the National Health Fund.

Lieutenant Barbara Jastrzębska from the Siedlce police confirmed to PAP that the attack occurred around 3 p.m. on August 27 near a restaurant in the city center. Initial findings suggest two individuals were involved. She added: “All evidence is being secured, and on-site procedures are continuing.”
