Prosecutors Launch Inquiry
The 8th Military Affairs Division prosecutors are handling the case. Vice‑Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz travelled to the crash site of the F‑16 aircraft. The fighter crashed during exercises before the Radom Air Show.
Condemnation and Condolences from Defence Minister
The lost pilot—a Polish Air Force officer—served his country with dedication and bravery. “This is a great loss for the Air Force and the entire Polish Armed Forces,” wrote the Chief of the Ministry of National Defence. “I pay tribute to his memory. My deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones,” added Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz.
