Teenager Hospitalized After Collision with Bus in Warsaw

A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized with a leg injury after running into the side of a city bus on Dzieci Warszawy Street in Warsaw on March 24th.

Incident Details

The incident occurred around 2:20 PM on March 24th on Dzieci Warszawy Street in Ursus, near a school complex including a secondary school and technical school.

The bus was involved in a collision with a 14-year-old boy at a pedestrian crossing, resulting in a leg injury for the teenager.

Bus Stop and Collision

Preliminary findings indicate the bus driver stopped before the pedestrian crossing to allow children to cross safely. After resuming travel, the 14-year-old boy unexpectedly ran onto the crossing.

The teenager did not run directly in front of the moving bus, but collided with the side of the vehicle while wearing headphones.

Emergency Response

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and provided initial treatment to the boy before transporting him to the hospital with a leg injury.

Police Investigation

Police are investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances and sequence of events. Traffic on Dzieci Warszawy Street was temporarily reduced to one lane during the investigation.
