A car fire occurred on Szymanowskiego Street in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district at 1:20 AM, damaging two parked vehicles.

Fire Breaks Out in Vehicle Engine Compartment

A car fire broke out on Szymanowskiego Street in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district overnight. The fire engulfed the engine compartment of the parked vehicle.

Thermal radiation from the blaze also damaged two cars parked nearby.

Emergency Response

The fire department received a report of the fire at 1:20 AM. Three fire crews, comprising a total of 12 firefighters, were dispatched to the scene.

Fire Suppression and Safety Checks

Upon arrival, firefighters found the engine compartment of a parked car on fire. They immediately began extinguishing the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent vehicles.

After extinguishing the fire, the wreckage and surrounding area were checked with a thermal imaging camera. No further fire hazard was detected.

Damage Assessment and Investigation

Two cars standing next to the burning vehicle sustained minor scorch damage due to the high temperature. Police are investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the fire.
