Polish Police Conduct Operation at Belarusian Association’s Warsaw Headquarters

Warsaw’s Police and bailiffs conducted an operation at the headquarters of a Belarusian association on Constitution Square, where riot police and firefighters were called due to “items resembling explosive devices.”

Operation Details

On Friday, August 29th, officers appeared at the building at Constitution Square 6 as part of bailiff assistance. During the operation, officers discovered items resembling firearms, bulletproof vests, and objects resembling grenades, necessitating the intervention of a specialized unit from the Warsaw Police Special Contraterrorist Platoon.

Cop Tactical Response

The scene was secured by police officers and three shifts of the State Fire Service, which supported the operation. According to the Warsaw I Police District’s press officer, “Policemen conducted activities as part of the bailiff’s assistance and additional actions related to securing the crime scene.”

Investigation

Further details regarding the nature of the secured items and the further course of action remain in the hands of the police. Law enforcement agencies have concluded their activities at the location.
