Warsaw: Scooter Rider Hospitalized After Collision with Car

A car and an electric scooter collided in central Warsaw on Tuesday, March 31st, sending the 18-year-old scooter rider to the hospital with a leg injury.

Collision at Prosta and Twarda Streets

On Tuesday, March 31st, shortly after 11:00 AM, a car and an electric scooter collided at the intersection of Prosta and Twarda streets in Warsaw. The 18-year-old scooter rider sustained a leg injury and was transported to a hospital.

Circumstances of the Incident

The incident occurred near the intersection of Prosta and Twarda streets. Initial findings indicate the 18-year-old was riding an electric scooter along the bicycle path towards the ONZ roundabout.

At the same time, the driver of a Skoda was making a right turn from Prosta Street onto Twarda Street.

Aftermath and Investigation

The collision occurred while the car was turning. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the injured 18-year-old was examined before being taken to the hospital with a leg injury.

Police officers are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances and sequence of events leading to the collision.
