Tragic car crash in Poland leaves three teenage passengers dead

A horrific car crash in Siercza, Poland at 1:00 AM on August 29th claimed the lives of three teen passengers, ages 15 and 16, as authorities struggle to identify their genders.

Deadly Crash in Malopolska

A tragic accident took place in Siercza, a village in the Malopolskie province of Poland, at around midnight on August 29th. According to the Malopolska police, an initial investigation suggests the driver of a Lexus lost control on a bend in the road, veered off the lane, and collided with a concrete culvert before catching fire.

Local Authorities Unable to Identify Victims’ Gender or Age

“Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the entire vehicle engulfed in flames,” said police spokesperson Hubert Ciepły. “Our efforts focused on extinguishing the blaze, and inside the car we discovered three deceased individuals. Unfortunately, we were unable to determine the victims’ genders or ages.”

Collision Reconstruction and Investigation

The incident involved three fire departments committed to extinguishing the fire. Police have since begun investigating the potential causes and circumstances of the tragedy, with initial reports suggesting the driver was traveling at 130 km/h before losing control.

Driver Was 16 and Stole the Car from His Parents

“Besides the 16-year-old driver, two more teenagers aged 15 were traveling in the car,” confirmed TVN24. “They were all from the Wieliczka and Krakow regions.” The driver reportedly stole the car from his parents without their consent.
