Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Law and Justice leader Jarosław Kaczyński delivered Easter messages, both acknowledging a world grappling with increasing turmoil.
Tusk Warns of Eroding Foundations
Prime Minister Tusk stated that current events confirm the relevance of concerns about the erosion of fundamental principles within the international community.
He observed a shift towards corruption and autocracy, with chaos replacing order, and expressed concern over unpredictable actions by global leaders, while noting the continued presence of war.
Tusk urged unity and faith in the power of good, emphasizing that “there are more people of good will, and I strongly believe that this world will never perish thanks to them.”
Kaczyński Calls for Hope and Victory
Jarosław Kaczyński emphasized that Easter represents the victory of life over death, hope over doubt, and the potential to overcome difficulties.
He wished for strength, hope, and victory of good over evil in personal lives, families, and the nation.
Błaszczak Offers Wishes for Strength and Unity
Mariusz Błaszczak, chairman of the Law and Justice parliamentary club, extended wishes for a healthy and peaceful Easter.
He hoped the holiday would bring strength, unity, and a moment of respite for loved ones.
