Man Arrested for Threatening Bar Owner with Weapon-Like Object

Warsaw police detained a 40-year-old man after he allegedly threatened a bar owner with an object resembling a firearm due to dissatisfaction with service.

Police Respond to Threat at Bar

Officers from the Mrówcza Street station received a report of an incident at a bar where a customer argued with the owner, expressed dissatisfaction with the service, made threats, and used an object resembling a weapon.

Rapid Identification of Suspect

Criminal investigators from Wawer quickly identified the suspect thanks to good knowledge of the local area. They swiftly determined the identity of the man who committed the crime.

Arrest Made While Commuting from Work

The 40-year-old was arrested shortly after, apprehended by officers as he returned home from work.

Weapon Recovered from Company Vehicle

Police determined the man had concealed a pellet gun in his company car. Investigators located and secured the vehicle.

Charges Filed and Restraining Order Issued

Based on the evidence gathered, the suspect was charged with making threats. The Warsaw-Praga Południe District Prosecutor’s Office ordered the suspect to be placed under police supervision and prohibited from contacting or approaching the victim.
