Major Fire Engulfs Fuel Tank and Warehouse Near Warsaw

A large fire erupted Wednesday around 1:45 PM in Czosnów, near Warsaw, involving a fuel tank, pallets, vehicles, and a wholesale food warehouse.

Fire Breaks Out at Fuel Tank

On Wednesday, April 8th, at approximately 1:45 PM, a fire broke out at a fuel tank located at ul. Gdańska 34 in Czosnów, near national road number 7.

The fire quickly spread to nearby stored pallets, parked cars, and a section of a wholesale food warehouse.

Extensive Firefighting Operation Underway

Multiple fire crews are battling the blaze, but the fire remains uncontrolled and continues to spread. Strong winds are exacerbating the situation, carrying embers to nearby green areas.

Additional resources, including water tankers, are being deployed to the scene. Efforts are focused on containing the fire and preventing it from reaching adjacent buildings and open areas.

No Injuries Reported, Fuel Capacity Estimated

Preliminary reports indicate no injuries have been sustained. Unofficial sources suggest the burning tank contained approximately 5,000 liters of fuel, likely diesel.
