The flotilla, initiated by a coalition of NGOs and activists, includes participants and aid from more than 40 countries. Among the participants were Polish citizens, including politician Franciszek Sterczewski, journalist Patrycja Wieczorkiewicz, and Omar Faris, founder of the Association of Polish-Palestinian Cultural and Social Society.

Thousands of people gathered in the Spanish port to bid farewell to the ships, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans like “Free Palestine” and “It’s not war, it’s genocide.”
