Stolen Audi Recovered After Police Chase Ends in Thicket

Police in Chorzele, Poland, recovered a stolen Audi A6 on April 8th around 3:00 AM after the driver fled into a wooded area.

Swift Recovery Prevents Owner Awareness

Thanks to the vigilance and decisive action of officers from the Chorzele Police Station, the stolen Audi was recovered the same night, before the owner even realized they were a victim of a crime.

Initial Pursuit and Evasive Maneuvers

The incident occurred on April 8th, around 3:00 AM, during a patrol shift in the Chorzele municipality. Officers noticed an Audi A6 traveling in the economic zone towards the railway tracks.

Upon spotting the patrol car, the driver became nervous, abruptly changed direction, and sped away, raising the officers’ suspicions.

Vehicle Abandoned in Brush

Officers immediately pursued the vehicle. The car turned onto a side road, which proved to be a dead end. Continuing their search, police discovered fresh tire tracks leading into a thicket on a nearby meadow.

Following the tracks, they found the abandoned and hidden vehicle in the undergrowth.

Owner Notified and Investigation Ongoing

No one was found in or near the car. Police checked the vehicle’s details in their systems and identified the owner, discovering the car had been stolen that same night in Nidzica.

The vehicle owner was informed of the theft by the police. Thanks to the quick response, their car was recovered almost immediately. Necessary procedures were carried out at the scene, and the case is ongoing.
