Former Presidential Adviser Blasts ava/disclaimerMinistry of Foreign Affairs Leak

Former presidential adviser Roman Kuźniar sharply criticized the leak of a government instruction note for President Andrzej Duda’s meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Leak Origins Debate

A three-page document prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSZ) containing instructions for domestic and foreign policy directions became public at the end of August, prompting the leak investigation. The document outlines what the government should communicate and avoid discussing during the Trump meeting.

Kuźniar’s Criticism

During a TVN24BiS appearance, former presidential foreign affairs advisor Professor Kuźniar said the leak originated from “cave people” within the presidential administration. He called it a “shameful act” and questioned the professionalism and ethics within the presidential office. Kuźniar said the incident also raises concerns about the relations between the government and the president’s office.

Political Implications

The leaked document has also drawn attention abroad, with international reactions from Moscow, Berlin, and Washington, leading Professor Kuźniar to comment that “there are only chains around the president.”
