Polish Consul Rafał Budyta stated that Portuguese authorities have not yet provided any information indicating that Polish citizens are among those affected by the Gloria cable car accident. He also revealed that, as of Wednesday evening, no specific details about Polish victims had been shared.

Cause of Accident Unknown
Five of the injured are in critical condition, with a three-year-old child among the injured. The cause of the accident remains unknown, but witnesses reported that the Gloria cable car fell from its tracks and collided with a building, completely destroying the cable car.
