Foreign Media Unrelenting Against Tusk: “Made a Fatal Diplomatic Mistake. Should Apologize”

The meeting between Polish leader Karol Nawrocki and Donald Trump has been called “nothing more than Tusk’s isolation in political circles.” While Tusk’s past criticism of Trump is blamed for this diplomatic misstep.

PestiSracok’s Views

The right-wing Hungarian portal PestiSracok has commented on the meeting, suggesting that Tusk should be grateful for “at least one Polish leader with whom Trump is willing to negotiate, as it benefits Poland’s interests.” The text adds that only a “polityk of large class” could make such an apology, and that Tusk does not belong to this group.

Tusk’s Previous Statements on Trump

Twenty years ago, during the 2023 election campaign, Tusk warned that if Trump had been elected president, the United States would have left NATO. He also argued that “Trump’s dependence on Russian services is not up for discussion,” calling it an effect of American agencies’ investigations.
