Supreme Court Chief Justice Małgorzata Manowska issued a statement expressing outrage over the moral decay and ethical violations by some constitutional court members, promising legal action to protect judicial staff and court security.
Statement on Decaying Morality
Manowska published a statement on the Supreme Court website, writing: “My uttermost outrage is directed at the decay of morality and egregious violation of legal ethics displayed by some members of this constitutional organ today.”
Concern for Safety and Dignity
“The fact that constitutional immunity concerning my person is the subject of today’s deliberations does in no way mitigate my obligation to ensure the safety of the Supreme Court building and its employees, as well as the unimpeded operation of this institution,” Manowska wrote.
No Tolerance for Abuse
She added: “Crimes, screaming, and abusive behavior towards women, as we have witnessed, will not be tolerated by me either now or in the future.”
