Residents of Konstantynów Łódzki found a dead wild boar in a local garbage bin last Thursday with signs of brutality, including a slashed throat and strychnine traces.
Circumstances of the Discovery
Residents discovered the viciously killed wild boar in a community garbage bin on September 4th and immediately contacted local authorities. Police classified the injuries as evidence of possible human involvement in the killing.
Procurator’s Investigation
Due to the severity of the wounds, an autopsy was ordered, and police are working under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of the animal’s death and the responsible party.
Telephone Call to Game Warden
A local game warden, Przemysław Kobacki from Łódź, received a call from an area resident asking how to safely prepare the wild boar. The caller mentioned finding, capturing, and attempting to consume the animal.
Police and Authorities’ Response
After discovering the suspicious call, the game warden notified the police and wildlife authorities. The case has become a priority for the investigation team.
