Łatwogang Raises Over 8.5 Million PLN During Charity Cycling Trip Across Poland

Internet influencer Piotr Hancke, known as Łatwogang, has raised over 8.5 million PLN after cycling 358 km from Zakopane toward Gdańsk to fund gene therapy for a child with DMD.

Mid-Journey Progress and Fundraising Goals

As of Saturday, May 23, at 6:55 PM, Piotr Hancke has spent over 26 hours cycling. Passing through the Łódź region, he has covered 358 km with approximately 330 km remaining to reach his destination in Gdańsk.

The influencer emphasizes that the campaign is a collective effort, noting that viewers can contribute simply by watching the livestream and the associated advertisements. He acknowledged the generosity of his audience following his previous massive fundraising success.

Motivations and Logistics

The inspiration for this trek stems from stories of children battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), specifically a boy named Maks. Hancke planned the journey on short notice, anticipating a total travel time of roughly 40 hours with a support team following in a technical vehicle.

The fundraising goal is approximately 15 million PLN to cover the full cost of the child’s gene therapy. While over 3 million PLN had been raised since October 2025, the current campaign started with an initial balance of 400,000 PLN.

A Proven Track Record

The young beneficiary, Maks Tocki, expressed his initial nervousness but is now feeling overwhelmed by the support. He is a second-grade primary school student who enjoys playing football and drawing.

Łatwogang previously made headlines with a charity event that raised over 251 million PLN for the Cancer Fighters foundation. That record-breaking marathon livestream lasted over nine days and attracted as many as 1.5 million simultaneous viewers at its peak.
