A Renault vehicle crashed through safety barriers and fell from a viaduct on Rataja Street in Płock on Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of two men.
Fatal Accident on Rataja Street
The tragedy occurred on Monday morning when a Renault driver veered off the road and struck the viaduct’s safety barriers. The vehicle subsequently flipped and landed on its roof beneath the overpass.
Emergency Response and Casualties
A helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue was dispatched to the scene. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts, both the 28-year-old driver and the 35-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the site.
Ongoing Investigation
Local police, under the supervision of a prosecutor, are currently conducting an investigation at the site beneath the viaduct to determine the exact circumstances of the crash. Traffic on the route remains open as officials continue to collect evidence and documentation.
