Nawrocki to Visit Washington for Talks with Donald Trump

Head of the International Policy Bureau Marcin Przydacz announced that President Nawrocki will meet with Donald Trump in Washington to discuss bilateral relations, national security, and energy cooperation.

Agenda for the Washington Meeting

During a press conference on Thursday, June 11, Marcin Przydacz confirmed that President Nawrocki will hold direct talks with Donald Trump regarding fundamental issues affecting Poland’s security and economic interests.

Przydacz emphasized that the discussions will prioritize national security and the presence of American troops on Polish soil. The talks are also expected to cover energy and economic cooperation.

Public Appearances and Diplomatic Gifts

President Nawrocki is scheduled to meet with the Polish diaspora on Sunday, likely in a southern state, where he will also attend mass. Additionally, Nawrocki plans to present Trump with two gifts, one being of a personal nature and the other representing the state.

Government Stance and Media Coverage

When asked by journalists in the Sejm about his expectations regarding the upcoming visit, Prime Minister Donald Tusk replied briefly that he expects nothing.

Meanwhile, Telewizja Republika has launched a fundraiser to collect 175,000 PLN to send a reporting team to Washington. Editor-in-chief Tomasz Sakiewicz stated that the funds will be used to organize an emergency studio and cover the events on the ground.

UFC Gala at the White House

A UFC mixed martial arts gala is scheduled for Sunday in the White House gardens. The event is intended to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and Flag Day, while also coinciding with President Trump’s 80th birthday.
