Former government spokesman and MP Stanowski accused Interior Ministry spokeswoman Karolina Gałecka of using a “reckless” social media post for clicks.
Gałecka’s Initial Criticism
Stanowski criticized Gałecka’s statement saying, “It was one of the most unfortunate statements I’ve heard.” Gałecka responded saying, “Manipulating my statement for clicks is irresponsible,” urging him to include the entire context of her statement.
Back-and-forth Exchange
Stanowski later said, “You can apologize for awkwardness instead of accusing others of manipulation.” Gałecka countered publicly, urging Stanowski to focus on factual reporting rather than seeking “cheap sensation.”
Context of the Disagreement
The disagreement stemmed from Gałecka’s public statement regarding the late-week RCB alert. When questioned about why the alert about drones reached only parts of the population late, she explained the situation: “Sending a notification at 2-3 AM would cause complete panic and overreaction among half of the population.”
