A poll conducted by Pollster Institute on behalf of Super Express found that 55% of respondents believe Poland faces a war threat from Russia. 45% of those surveyed disagreed with this assessment.
Polish Defense Official Weighs In
Polish military official General Roman Polko said, “It’s good that there’s awareness of existing threats. Because Poles are aware of how dangerous Russia can be, they accept the significant rise in military spending.”
Russian Drones Breach Polish Airspace
Overnight during Tuesday and Wednesday, Polish airspace was breached 19 times by Russian drones. Many flew into Poland from Belarus, with several UAVs being shot down.
United Nations Security Council Meeting Scheduled
On Friday, an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council in New York will address the breach of Polish airspace by Russian drones. Polisch foreign affairs advisor Marcin Bosacki will represent Poland at the meeting.
