Poland’s Operational Command of the Armed Forces confirmed Saturday that it had no evidence of Polish airspace being violated during military activities on September 13, 2025.
Military Operations Disproved Allegations
According to a statement from Poland’s Operational Command of the Armed Forces (RSZ), they took all feasible actions to verify radar system indications of possible violations of Polish airspace. However, their investigations did not confirm any breach of airspace.
Situation Linked to Atmospheric Conditions
The military noted that the radar system readings might have been caused by prevailing atmospheric conditions, though they warranted a response due to the presence of objects near the Polish border. Similar incidents occurred yesterday in Romania where radar system indications were also noted and the country’s air defense system was activated.
Canceled Airspace Alerts
On Saturday afternoon around 4pm, Poland’s Operational Command of the Armed Forces informed that military aircraft operations in Polish airspace began due to the threat of drone attacks in Ukraine bordering Poland. An alert from the Polish Government Security Center warning of “aerial attack threats” was sent to residents of several counties in the Lublin voivodeship. Approximately two hours later, the Polish military confirmed that operations were completed and the alert was rescinded.
