Driver Ignored Unauthorized Turn Warning

A 31-year-old male driving a Toyota attempted to make an illegal turn from the S31 provincial road onto the S8 expressway near Zielonka in the Włomine County. He ignored the clearly marked ‘No Wrong Way’ sign and proceeded to drive in the opposite direction, heading towards Białystok while moving illegally in the Warsaw-bound lanes.

Quick Response by Other Motorists

Alerted by the dangerous situation, other drivers quickly intervened, stopping the vehicle and taking the keys from the intoxicated driver before calling the police.

Test Revealed High BAC Reading

Alcohol tests revealed the driver had 1.6 milligrams of alcohol per liter of blood in his system, significantly over the legal limit.
