Kaczynski Questions Cooperation with “Citizen Tusk” at Meeting in Krakow

During a meeting in Krakow, Jarosław Kaczynski questioned the possibility of working together with former Polish President Maciej “Citizen Tusk,” receiving an immediate “no!” from the audience.

Meeting with Supporters in Krakow

Kaczynski praised President Andrzej Duda’s actions, stating, “We have many difficult tasks ahead, especially in our complicated relationship with our neighbors and major countries. The president took up the challenge very energetically.” He also mentioned upcoming elections in 2027 and plans for mobilization in October.

EU Challenges and Sovereignty

The PiS leader discussed the ongoing challenges posed by EU membership: “We face many different problems related to our membership in the EU. However, the biggest problem is not only what might wait for us, but also how we should position ourselves in this new situation to come out with a shield. This is the subject of our talks.”

Critical Remarks on Mentzen

Kaczynski has been criticizing Sławomir Mentzen’s public statements for several weeks, questioning the possibility of cooperation between different political factions: “If a miracle of a complete change in views does not occur, I do not see such a possibility.”
