Polish Right-Wing Leader Rejects Rival’s Anti-Immigration Platform

Law and Justice party leader Jarosław Kaczyński warns that implementing Konfederacja’s policies would lead to the collapse of both society and state, and accuses the rival party of aligning with “social Darwinists.”

Party Leadership Clash

Kaczyński criticized Sławomir Mentzen’s Konfederacja for advocating policies such as a paid healthcare system, paid education, and total privatization, including of state forests. He argued that such policies would lead to societal collapse if implemented.

Strategic Shifts

PiS is considering a range of strategies to respond to Konfederacja’s growth, including potential cooperation, polarization tactics, or internal division within the opposing party.

Braun’s Growing Influence

Mentzen and other PiS leaders are also closely monitoring the potential impact of controversial party member Grzegorz Braun’s growing support base in the east of Poland.
