Grzybiarze (mushroom pickers) discovered parts of objects resembling drones in various locations across Poland, prompting police and military investigations.
In Wodynie, Mazowiecka police reported that around 9:00 AM, mushroom pickers found parts of an object resembling a drone in a forest area, approximately one kilometer from residential buildings. The police secured the elements and the site, notifying other services including the Military Gendarmerie and the district prosecutor’s office in Siedlce.
A short while later, the Mazowiecka police published another report stating that in Białobrzeski county, a man found debris from an object similar to a drone in a forest around 9:00 AM. This was about 6 kilometers from the nearest buildings in Biała Góra. The police secured the object and the site, again notifying the Military Gendarmerie and the district prosecutor’s office in Grójec.
Lubelska Police Report
The Lubelska police also reported an incident in Sulmice, where a mushroom picker found an object resembling a drone lying on the ground in a forest area, about 1500 meters from residential buildings, around 10:00 AM. The police secured the object and site, notifying the Military Gendarmerie and the district prosecutor’s office in Zamość.
Drone Found Near Kętrzyn
On Saturday, a report was made about an object similar to a drone found in Studzieniec, near Kętrzyn. The police stated it was similar to objects that had violated Polish airspace the previous week. The object, described as a styrofoam drone, was found in a field about 50 meters from buildings.
