Bag of Puppies Found Near Trash Can, Only One Survives

A wardens hearing desperate whines at Raabego 7 on Tuesday, Oct 2, uncovered a plastic bag with five puppies, only one alive.

Discovery

At about 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct 2, a wardens passing the trash can on Raabego 7, Ursynów, heard sharp, desperate whines coming from a nearby shelter pavilion. He found a plastic bag that contained a litter of five newborn puppies, of which only one remained alive.

Immediate Response

The wardens immediately called the municipal guard and police. City Guard eco‑patrol units were dispatched, rescued the living puppy, and transported it to the Paluch Shelter for further care.

Police Investigation

Police are compiling evidence, including footage from available cameras and statements from witnesses. Officers have appealed to nearby residents for surveillance recordings and, notably, vehicle dashcams that might have captured the bag. The bag was described as having two layers—lavender on one side and bright yellow on the other—to prevent accidental leaks of its contents.

Public Appeal

Local residents posted an urgent plea on a neighborhood forum, noting that a neighbor’s dog had been pregnant but is now gone. The post asked anyone who saw a person carrying the distinctive two‑layered bag around 7 a.m. to contact authorities. The resident also addressed the suspect directly, urging them to remember the suffering caused and to treat others with the same empathy they demonstrated.
