A car crashed into the Wieprza River in Pomerania, Poland on Friday, April 3rd, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
Vehicle Lost Control on Bridge
On Friday, April 3rd, after 9:00 PM, a car driven by a 51-year-old woman lost control on a bridge over the Wieprza River in Słupsk, Poland.
The vehicle broke through the barriers and entered the water. The driver and a 17-year-old male passenger self-extricated from the car and are receiving medical attention.
Second Passenger Dies After Rescue
Rescuers recovered a 52-year-old man from the vehicle. He experienced cardiac arrest and resuscitation efforts were initiated.
However, a doctor on the scene pronounced the man dead.
Police Investigate Accident Circumstances
Nine fire departments and police units worked at the scene. Authorities will investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
