Strong winds damaged the roof of the Church of the Body of Christ on Monte Cassino Street in Siedlce. This is one of many incidents reported today in Mazovia, where firefighters have been responding primarily to fallen trees and damaged roofs since last night.
As of 2:00 PM, 315 wind-related incidents had been reported in the Mazovia province.
Widespread Damage Across Mazovia
Strong gusts of wind have been affecting Mazovia since overnight, causing visible damage in many districts of the region. Firefighters are removing fallen trees, securing damaged building elements, and responding to new reports.
No Injuries Reported
The incident in Siedlce required securing the damaged part of the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

As of 2:00 PM, firefighters in Mazovia had recorded 315 incidents related to the strong wind. Most interventions involved fallen trees and branches. Twenty cases of torn or damaged roofs were also reported.
The highest number of interventions was recorded in the area of KP PSP Mińsk Mazowiecki – 27. Further reports concerned KP PSP Przasnysz – 22, KM PSP m.st. Warsaw – 22, and KP PSP Wyszków – 22. Firefighters in Wołomin – 19, Siedlce – 18, Sokołów Podlaski – 16, Węgrów – 15, Pułtusk – 13, and Piaseczno – 12 were also busy.
Reports also came from Maków Mazowiecki and Ostrołęka – 11 interventions each, Pruszków – 10, Ciechanów – 9, Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Ostrowi Mazowiecka – 8 each, and from Płońsk, Mława, and Kozienice – 7 each. Płock and Otwock recorded 6 incidents each, while the Warsaw West district and Radom reported 5 each.
Roof Damage Concentrated in Przasnysz Area
Among the roof-related reports, the most cases were recorded in the Przasnysz area, where 4 roofs were damaged or torn off. Two such incidents were recorded in Ciechanów and Maków Mazowiecki. Single cases were reported in Lipsko, Kozienice, Siedlce, Płock, Wołomin, Przysucha, Płońsk, Ostrołęka, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Sokołów Podlaski, Pułtusk, and Warsaw.
